Affiliate Disclosure

Everworks carries paid links. This page sets out exactly what that means: who pays, what triggers a payment, what it costs you, what it does and does not influence, and how to use the site without following a paid link at all.

The arrangement, in plain terms

MEHA + VERBOVEC s.r.o., which publishes Everworks, takes part in the affiliate programme of the game covered in title profiles. Where a page on this site links to that game's website, the link is an affiliate link. If you follow it, register on the publisher's landing page, install the game and start playing, the affiliate programme pays this publisher a commission for the referral.

The commission is paid by the game's publisher out of its own marketing budget. Nothing is added to what you pay, no reader is charged anything by Everworks at any point, and the game's own terms apply to you exactly as they would if you had typed its address into your browser yourself.

What the commission does influence

One thing, and it is worth being direct about it: which titles appear on this site at all. Everworks profiles titles whose affiliate programmes pay this publisher. There is no separate editorial survey of the market sitting behind that decision. A game's absence from this library therefore says nothing whatever about the game.

That makes this a narrow resource rather than a comprehensive one, and the pages say so wherever it could matter to a reader's judgement. A narrow scope stated plainly is worth more than a claim of broad independence that could not survive a look at the incentives.

What the commission does not influence

• The content of a profile. The seven attributes recorded for each title are fixed before any entry is written, and they are filled from the publisher's own statements. Where a publisher has not stated something, the profile records that it is not stated. No attribute has a “better” value that earns more.
• The cautions. The warnings about randomised purchasing, about checking classification, about downloading clients only from official sources and about account security are written the same way regardless of which title they sit beside.
• The absence of scores. Nothing on this site is rated or ranked, so there is no ranking a commission could move.
• The explanatory pages. How collection RPGs work, the glossary, desktop requirements, account safety and spending and classification would be written identically with no affiliate arrangement in place. They carry no paid links.

What determines coverage instead

Within the set of titles an arrangement exists for, a title gets a page only when the publisher states enough about it to fill the comparison grid without inference. If the grid cannot be completed from the publisher's own statements, the title does not get a profile, and the arrangement does not change that. How paid links are marked

Every affiliate link on this site is labelled where it appears, with a line of ordinary body text immediately beside it rather than in small print. Each one also carries the rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" attribute, which tells search engines the link is paid, and opens in a new tab. The address in the link is the destination address: it is visible in your browser's status bar when you hover over it, and there is no redirect through this domain, no script that changes where the link goes when clicked, and no interstitial page in between.

How to use this site without following a paid link

Read it and ignore the links. Nothing on Everworks is gated, and nothing is hidden behind a click on a paid link. If you decide a title interests you, you are welcome to search for its name and go to the publisher's site directly; the information here is the same either way, and the publisher's own site is where the current details live regardless.

Advertising standards and Australian law

This disclosure exists because readers are entitled to know when a recommendation is paid for, and because under the Australian Consumer Law misleading or deceptive conduct in trade is prohibited — a rule enforced against publishers as well as advertisers. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission publishes guidance on advertising and consumer rights at accc.gov.au.
