Privacy Policy

This policy describes what happens to personal information in connection with the website at everworks.online. It is written to match what the site actually does, which is very little: the site has no forms, no accounts, no cookies and no third-party scripts, so the only personal information involved is what a web server necessarily records and what a reader chooses to put in an email.

1. Who is responsible for your personal information

MEHA + VERBOVEC s.r.o. publishes Everworks and decides how personal information connected with the site is handled. This policy is written under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, because the site is written for readers in Australia. Section 11 covers the position for readers in the European Union and the United Kingdom.

2. What is collected

Two categories, and no others.

2.1 Server logs

Like any web server, the server that delivers these pages records a line for each request. Each line contains the IP address the request came from, the date and time, the URL requested, the HTTP status returned, the browser's user agent string, and the referring page where the browser sends one. This is created automatically by the server software; it is not something the site asks for or could switch off while remaining reachable.

2.2 Email you send

If you write to info@everworks.online, the publisher receives your email address, the content of your message and anything else you choose to include. Nothing is required of you: there is no form dictating what must be provided, and a correction can be sent with no identifying information beyond the address the mail comes from.

2.3 What is not collected

There is no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, no search box, no comment system, no account registration and no input field of any kind on this site. No cookies are set, and no third-party script runs on any page — no analytics, no advertising tag, no conversion pixel, no chat widget, no embedded social content, no externally hosted font or library. The site uses no localStorage, no sessionStorage and no fingerprinting technique. Every file a page loads is served from everworks.online itself. The cookie policy covers this in more detail.

Links to other websites, including the affiliate link described on the affiliate disclosure page, are ordinary hyperlinks. Following one takes you to a site operated by someone else, under their own privacy policy. Everworks receives no personal information about anything you do there; the affiliate programme reports referrals to the publisher as aggregate counts, not as identifiable people.

3. Why each category is held, and on what basis

Server logs are held for security and diagnostics: identifying attacks on the server, investigating errors, and confirming the site is being delivered correctly. Under the Australian Privacy Principles this information is collected because it is reasonably necessary to operate and secure the site. Email correspondence is held for the single purpose of reading and answering the message you sent.

Neither category is used for marketing, profiling, advertising or any form of automated decision-making. Nothing is sold, rented or traded, in any circumstances.

Two service providers are involved, and no one else. A third-party hosting provider operates the server that delivers these pages and holds the server logs described above. A third-party email provider operates the mailbox that receives messages sent to the contact address. Both act on the publisher's instructions. The identity of the current providers can be obtained by writing to the contact address.

No advertising network, analytics company, data broker or game publisher receives personal information from this site, because none of them has any means of obtaining it: the site sends nothing to any third party.

Cross-border disclosure (Australian Privacy Principle 8). The publisher is established in the Czech Republic and its service providers operate servers outside Australia, principally in the European Union. If you are in Australia, the information described in this policy is therefore disclosed to overseas recipients. The publisher takes reasonable steps to ensure those recipients handle the information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, through the contractual terms on which they are engaged. Information handled in the European Union is also subject to the General Data Protection Regulation.

6. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and the server is encrypted. Access to the server and to the contact mailbox is limited to the publisher, protected by unique credentials and multi-factor authentication. Because the site holds no reader accounts, no payment information and no database of readers, the volume of personal information exposed to any incident is inherently small. No system is absolutely secure, and this policy does not claim otherwise.

7. Your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles

You may ask what personal information about you the publisher holds and request access to it, and you may ask for information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete to be corrected. Write to info@everworks.online. A response is provided within 30 days. Because the information held is limited to server log lines and email correspondence, an access request is most likely to be answerable if you can indicate an approximate date and the email address used.

If you are not satisfied with how a privacy matter has been handled, raise it with the publisher first at the address above. If it remains unresolved, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which oversees the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth): oaic.gov.au.

8. Data breaches

If a breach of the information described in this policy occurs and it is likely to result in serious harm, the publisher will assess it and, where the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme applies, notify the individuals at risk and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as that scheme requires.

9. Children

This site is not directed at people under 16 and nothing on it is designed to appeal to children. No information is collected from anyone, of any age, through the site itself. Where a young person's online safety is the concern, the eSafety Commissioner is the relevant Australian body.

10. Changes to this policy

If the site changes in a way that affects this policy — for example if any script, cookie or measurement tool is ever introduced — this page is updated before that change goes live, and the effective date at the top is revised. There is no mailing list through which changes could be announced, so the effective date is the mechanism: it tells you whether what you read before still applies.

11. European Union and United Kingdom readers

MEHA + VERBOVEC s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so the General Data Protection Regulation applies to its processing. The lawful basis relied on for both categories described above is legitimate interests: keeping the server secure and diagnosing faults, and responding to correspondence a reader has chosen to send. Consent is not relied on, because the site sets no cookies and runs no tracking, so there is nothing to consent to.

Readers in the EU or the UK have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, including the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. These are exercised through the same contact address. A complaint may be made to a supervisory authority — in the Czech Republic, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), and in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office.
